Install a plugin to provide the necessary Open Graph meta tags for link previews.
Most SEO plugins have this feature built-in: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/seo/
But if you don’t want to use an SEO plugin at all, there are dedicated OpenGrah plugins: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/search/open+graph/
(Note that you shouldn’t use the two together, or else you’ll have duplicate meta tags)
Hi @marielhfink
Your website needs Open Graph meta tags for this to work: https://ogp.me/
The easiest way to add them is by using a SEO plugin that will do most of the work for you, such as automatically adding the featured image you chose as an og:image meta tag. If you already have a SEO plugin, check its settings to ensure it’s properly configured. If not, I recommend installing either Slim SEO or The SEO Framework. These plugins allow you to configure Open Graph meta tags globally and/or on a per-page basis.
For testing purposes, you can use third-party websites that will display your Open Graph meta tags and let you preview how they will be used. For example:
I hope this helps. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Thank you! This is perfect guidance, appreciate it!
