We have received notices that our website has been updated and several plug pins have been updated. When you go to access our website it gives a warning that the connection is not secure and doesn’t allow access to our website. When I tried to log into our website editor (westsidejja.com/wp-admin) it also gives me the same warning and does not give me access to check if I need to renew a certification or manually update something.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi

Thank you for contacting us. My name is Sandra, and I’m on the Elementor Tier 2 Customer Experience team. I apologize for the inconvenience you’re experiencing with your site.

The warning you’re seeing when trying to access your website and admin dashboard is due to a missing or inactive SSL certificate. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is what ensures a secure, encrypted connection between your website and its visitors. When it’s not active, most browsers will display a security warning and may block access entirely. I hope you understand Elementor does not have control over your site SSL.

To resolve this, we recommend checking with your hosting provider to ensure that your SSL certificate is properly installed and renewed. Many hosts offer free SSL certificates through providers like Let’s Encrypt, and they can usually help reinstall or reactivate it quickly.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions regarding Elementor.

    Kind Regards,

    Sandra
