    Hi Gabriel,

Love the plugin, been using it on a couple of sites for a fair while now and have seen great results in my sites overall speed.

I haven’t made any changes to my set up for a few months so we in today to make some adjustments and tweaks, however, whenever I make any changes within Asset CleanUp Pro, my sidebar disappears and the content ends up at the bottom of the page? Once this happens the only way I can get the sidebar back is by restoring my site with a backup. (reverting the changes made in Asset CleanUp Pro and clearing the caches etc etc don’t help at all).

    Any ideas?

    Running version: 1.1.6.3

    Cheers!

@kookook I’m glad the plugin has been helping you so far! As for the sidebar “disappearing” and showing its content at the bottom, this is very likely due to the fact that the CSS files connected to it are unloaded, thus an un-styled admin bar. Some files such as “admin-bar” are automatically skipped (not showing up to manage) as they should always load and avoid this confusion when the user is logged-in and the admin bar is showing up.

So, the one that comes into my mind (the most common that has been reported a few times so far) is “dashicons”. If you have unloaded it site-wide without marking “Load it if the user is logged-in”, then your admin bar will be showing up at the bottom and un-styled. In future versions of the plugin, this will be automatically prevented so “dashicons” will always load when the admin bar is showing up. Also, if you have enabled “Disable Dashicons Site-Wide For Guests” in “Settings” -> “Site-Wide Common Unloads“. Perhaps there’s a bug there and for some reason it doesn’t work well on your website, although the feature has been tested extensively and it should work, but let’s not leave any room for errors/bugs.

    Hey Gabe,

Thank you for your reply on this.

It turned out the issue was caused by the Yandex site verification code in my header some how was not agreeing with Asset Cleanup – weird but I removed the code and everything returned to normal.
