Website Suddenly Changing Language

Hello, I am hoping someone will be able to assist me with a problem that I encountered today. I was on my site and I noticed my main menu was backwards – when I tried to log into my Dashboard to investigate my entire login screen and Dashboard had been converted to Aramaic. That’s why my menu was backwards presumably – all the writing and text read from right to left. This happened without my permission or knowledge. I don’t know if I was hacked or if something else went wrong.

I am changing my password on WordPress.com to be safe but is there anything else I can do to find out what happened and prevent this from happening again?
