Hi Leila,
I took a look at your site on my desktop and it was fine, then narrowed the browser to “mobile” width and it looked fine, too. It responded properly.
Then I looked at it on my Kindle and it gave me a menu for choosing the regular or mobile site. I chose mobile and it gave me a split screen with the search on the left and a blank area on the right.
My first guess is that you’re using some kind of a plug-in or service that looks to see if a device is mobile and that re-interprets your site? If so, did it have an update of some kind? Maybe the update is messing up your site?
You don’t need that service, because the TwentyTwelve theme is automatically mobile-ready. It converts to a mobile ready format out-of-the-box.
(By the way, I relate to your content. We have sensitive people over here, too.)
Oh David! I can’t tell you how grateful I am! You were right… I have two mobile plugins for some reason (I can’t remember having installed them). I just deactivated them and my mobile site is back to normal. I am so relieved! Thank you so much!
I also can’t tell you how happy it makes me when people tell me they can relate to my content. Not long ago, we didn’t know ANYONE who had a highly sensitive child. We’ve come a long way, but still have a long way to go.
Thank you for your help David. Have a great week ahead!
You’re welcome. And I forwarded your site to my wife. She has a site, too and can relate to your content as well.
That’s wonderful David! I look forward to hearing from her!
