• I am using PoetMail V3 post notification to a create weekly newsletter to include BBpress replies.

As the designer includes new content from and posts, but does not include BBpress tops/replies, I have resorted to using a shortcode [custom: showforum] to show a list of new topics and replies which works.

However as its a shortcode, the scheduler task does not recognise that there is new content.

To bypass this, I have added a page title, and have used other plugs such as Auto Post Scheduler to re-post the page with a new create date but PoetMail does not see it as a new post. Hence no new post notification is sent.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to overcome this? The pages, faq and post are static, only the forums are active – so I need the trigger from new forum topics & replies. Thanks

To net it out, I just need a feature where the same newsletter can be automatically sent out every week though it has not been changed.

Use the APS option Recycle Posts as New?

If PoetMail V3 triggers off that hook it should work. If not you’ll have to check PoetMail V3 and see how it triggers its event.
