    Hi

How would we enter the below or is that possible?

£8.00 per consignment, up to 10 kg, then £0.35 per kg

    Thank you 🙂

    Hi @mawebdesignuk,

Just to make sure if I got you right – you want to set the base £8.00 fee for the shipments up to 10 kg and if the shipment’s weight is higher than 10 kg the shipping cost should be calculated £8.00 + £0.35 per each 1 kg above 10 – is that correct?

    Kind regards,
    Łukasz

    Hi
    Yes thats correct, example:

    Example 1
    total cart weight 7kg
    Shipping cost £8.00

    Example 2
    total cart weight 11kg
    Shipping cost £8.35

    Example 3
    total cart weight 15kg
    Shipping cost £9.75

    Thank you

    Hi @mawebdesignuk,

Thank you for your reply and the confirmation. The scenario you have described can be configured using both – Flexible Shipping free and PRO version, however, setting it up using the free one will take much more effort. You will need to define first the £8.00 fixed cost rule based on None and then add the separate additional cost rules for each 1 kg range above 10 kg this way:

and so on, up to the weight limit you send the shipments to.

The Flexible Shipping PRO version would allow you to configure it much easier, with only 2 rules, however, we are not supposed to discuss the PRO features here. In case you need some more information about the PRO version, please contact us directly at https://flexibleshipping.com/support/ and type ‘presale’ in the contact form.

    Kind regards,
    Łukasz
