Weird Code showing on Live Site

    There is something very odd going on with this page: [ redundant link removed ]

    It’s showing the areas of the page on the right hand side (in the back end) on the live site. No idea why. I have been making a lot of changes so looks like a glitch.

    Any ideas?

    Moved to Fixing WordPress, this is not an Everything else WordPress topic.

    Can you please try some temporary troubleshooting steps?

    • Switch to the Twenty Seventeen theme
    • Deactivate all the plugins, no exceptions
    • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies

    And re-visit your site. Does the problem still exist when you do that?

    Switching to a new theme is fairly drastic, last time I did changes it mucked up my WooCommerce etc so very apprehensive to do that.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site. You can then use its admin bar menu to turn on/off plugins and themes one at a time.
