weird css widget issue in ie

my site looks fine in firefox and chrome, but of course ie has to not cooperate. My site is http://ablog4you.net.

basically i have my widgets setup like this
widget-top
widget-container
widget-bottom

the problem is the widget-container background keeps going all the way down, it doesnt stay in each widget section, here’s my css code for my widget section.
