Something mighty weird is going on with my site… http://redsultana.com

    I’m hosting with iPowerweb.com.

The problem is that overnight my 2007 folder which hosted all my posts this year somehow was deleted. Along with all the pages I created in WordPress.

    The index page is okay.

When I go into WordPress though, I can view all my posts and comments.

If I try to re-publish – nothing happens.

So I don’t know what to do. To be honest I’m a bit scared I’ll lose the lot.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any clues?

    slokay,

    1. Do not hijack topics – start your own.
    2. On a second thought – don’t start anything. Contact that site’s owner, we have nothing to do with the settings on that blog.

Nup still getting the 145 error when I go into the database… sigh.

    It still says:
    Error
    SQL query:

SELECT COUNT( * ) AS num
    FROM redsulta_wp_1.wp_falbum_cache

    MySQL said:

    #1016 – Can’t open file: ‘wp_falbum_cache.MYI’. (errno: 145)

I’ve reset the permalinks to no effect. Do you still think I should reset to default?

Note how extra cautious and non-impulsive I have become…
    🙂

OK, I was referring to the blog not seeing the error in the sidebar, since I have no access to your database 🙂

I’d press the host to do something about the DB repair – and not doing anything on the blog until it’s done.

Sounds like a fine plan. 🙂
    Thanks for all your help.
