Weird menu problems with Ocean Extra

My mobile menu was not displaying; when I clicked the hamburger menu nothing happened.
I discovered that could fix this by deactivating Ocean Extra. However, that caused me to lose other things, like a custom menu widget in the footer and the oceanwp_search shortcode in the topbar. When I reactivated Ocean Extra, the main nav menu content was displayed twice — once formatted correctly and one with just unformatted text links.
What is going on? How do I fix this?

I updated OceanWP to v. 1.7.4, and Ocean Extra to v. 1.6.0. I still have the same problem.
