Weird problem with threaded (nested) comments after depth decrease

    Not sure if this one has been covered here – I can’t seem to find anything on it!

    My problem is we have a site that uses threaded comments. It works fine. It used to go 5 levels deep. We eventually changed it to 3 levels deep and now any post from the past that has comments that go 5 levels deep, it doesn’t even show any reply links or reply forms anywhere.

    Any posts from after the depth change work fine.

    I hope that makes sense!

    Is this a known issue?
