what about extra generated images?

    I need to ask you this before trying this plugin.
    If on my server I have images in their original sizes only, will the plugin create the thumbnails/small/medium/large images as by default?
    And also, since they are 6k, how would the plugin deal with the “successful imported” alert that normally occurs for every single image?

    Extra images should be generated on import.

    You’ll encounter a limit at some point as to the number you can import at once. This plugin is not designed to be used to import thousands of media items, and does not support recursive directories, nor does it support batching the imports.

    You may be better off using WP-CLI for your use-case:
    https://wp-cli.org/commands/media/import/
