What am I doing wrong?

    No need to worry about the single item layout in your case, since you are looking to display a list of links.

    Now, the screenshot you are referencing shows links with the descriptions, along with RSS and preview links. That being said, you have set the notesoverride and descoverride fields to 0, which means that neither of this will display.

    What I would first suggest is to replace your shortcode to only be [link-library settings=”1″]

    Then, go to the Advanced tab of Library configuration to select which fields to display. To see the link name and the link description, check both of these items in the list.
