Форум прекрасно работает, мало того, есть мною сделанное дополнение для личного кабинета, интеграция с WP-RECALL тоже работает прекрасно, включая рейтинг постов.
Работает и на 4.7
В консоле должен появится пункт “Форум” после установки, там надо выбрать страницу форума, на которой установлен шорткод и появятся настройки. Создать категории и форумы. Тогда все должно появится на сайте.
Редкое явление, но возможен конфликт с каким то плагином. Если все установлено правильно и не появились настройки плагина, попробуйте отключать плагины по одному и проверять.
Или дайте больше информации, можно скрины, ссылку на страницу форума и тд.

Thank you. “Forum” does appear in the console, but what does not appear is the forum itself on a page.

Please ensure that you write [forum] in the content-area of the page where you want to display the forum at, and NOT forum.
If its still not working after it, then it is definitely a problem with your theme or one of your other plugins which prevents the execution of shortcodes.

Ok, I guess i didn’t realize I have to manually enter the forum short code, as I have tried everything else and it is not working after disabling all plug ins.

So it is working now after adding the shortcode manually or does the problem still exist? If last one, can you give me a link to your site so I can have a look?
I will have to learn to enter it. I don’t know what the code is and will have to read your documentation more carefully. For now, no, there is nothing functional other than the three categories in the menu.

Basically you dont have to enter much. In the WordPress administration area you just create a new Page like when you want to write a new article. But instead of writing anything in the text-editor like This is my new page. It is really great! you just write [forum] there.
Now save and publish the page, open it in the frontend and: Your forum is there. That should be all! 🙂
