What and how do groups work?

    In the latest release note there’s a mention of a new filter and action for groups but nothing else. It’s supposed to be in settings > groups & settings > setup but as far as I can tell the settings haven’t changed and I can’t find the mention of setup or groups anywhere.. or an exact description of what it does actually ;p

    Can anyone shine a light on that?

    @thomasvalera,

    Props for looking at the release notes (I don’t think many do).

    Those specific filters are primarily used internally (however they are available publicly as well).

    These facilitate the ability to add settings fields in the Nooz > Settings page.

    To get an idea of how they work you can take a look at inc/NoozRelease.php (or inc/class-release.php in the up-coming 1.4 release).
