    Hello,

I would like to allow users to sign up to my website and use Quiz Maker to make and publish their own quizzes. I have used third party plugins (“Adminimize”, “Hid Admin Menu” and “PublishPress Capabilities”) to grant different user roles different permissions.

So far I have been able to allow users to create posts, but since QM works by creating a quiz in their own plugin then adding the short code for that quiz in a new post, my users must also have access to the wordpress dashboard side menu and the “Quiz Maker” options. Unfortunately, even though I have allowed access to QM, the QM menu does not show up to users that sign up as say a contributor.

I installed a poll making plugin to also post polls on my site. I allowed the contributor to access this plugin via the side menu using the permission plugins mentioned above, and it shows up correctly for them when logged in.

So my question is, QM must be using some capabilties that is stopping them from showing up in the permission editor plugin and I would like to know how I can fix it so that QM appears for registered users on my site.

    Thank you

    Dear @stephunique,

    Thank you for the topic.

As far as I understand, you are using another plugin to give permissions to different user roles to access the Dashboard and use the plugin.

If yes, then, the Quiz Maker plugin has the Who will have permission to Quiz option (General Settings page > General Tab).
With this option, you can select user roles to give access to the Quiz menu.
Moreover, you can give access in such a way, that the concrete user roles can access only the data they created.

However, please note, that the feature is available only in the Pro version of the plugin.

    Thank you.
