What exactly does this plugin do?

The plugin is called Offline Updater, so my thought is that you can copy all the plugins that are of interest to you, and the latest WP install file, to a local repository on your computer or network… tell your install of WP to look at this local path, and it will update from there as opposed to ww.wp.xz.cn?

I don’t see any configuration options on this plugin. My instance of WP is on a intranet with no internet connection, so I was hoping this would be a fast and efficient way of updating my intranet sites.

Can you tell me what this plugin is actually intended for?
