What happened to the panel for writing posts?

    I’ve set up some new blogs which are in the new version of WordPress and the writing post panel has changed a great deal. It appears I can no longer resize or position images without knowing some html, I can’t select the html option anymore like I used to for inserting tags, and there’s no options for left adjust, centre or right adjust. It seems that the whole menu options for formatting text and entering images has completely changed. Why? I much preferred the ‘Word’ style panel for formatting posts. Is there any setting I can change to put it in the format we were used to with earlier versions?

    go to admin -> Users -> your profile
    check box at top to use rich editor

    Thanks, that wasn’t very intuitive, at least not for me. I had no idea that was there. Thank you.
