interesting how the above URL is automatically redirected to https://chefleez.com/web-stories/experience-thailand/. This means I can not create a new page URL that includes the name of a web-story as it will be redirected, right? nor can I create a page named stories or story or my stories as they also get an automatic redirect to the plug-in autobuilt page /web-stories/. I think this is bug #5 that I have found and is the BUG or reason I desire to create this new Page URL to collect all the Experience Thailand related stories.

@chefleez Thanks for your post. Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties and hope to find a resolution for you.

I need the actual code that embeds a google web-stories to a specific page. DO you know the embed code?

If you are using the Classic Editor, you can insert a single story shortcode when you publish a new story and add it to new post.

You can create a page named /stories/ or a page with the same name as story since in those cases, no redirect will happen.

There is a fix out in our upcoming release for the bug where /stories/ is still redirecting in that case. We will provide you with any updates. Thanks.

I Input the code you provided above and all it does is print the characters as input. It does not create a link chefleez.com/experience-thailand.

So the question remains what is the code to embed Google stories to a word press page without the default google stories provided plug-in provided download for <embed> or web stories?

Thank you the embed code provided does work but it appears to pull in the entire story and that sucks up a bunch of time. tooo much time.

I was lucky and seized an opportunity to capture this code and it works.

    <figure class=”wp-block-embed-wordpress wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-chefleez”><div class=”wp-block-embed__wrapper”>
    https://chefleez.com/web-stories/thailand-50%25-discount/
    </div></figure>

Now https:chefleez.com/experience-thailand/ page appears to work correctly and loads quickly.
