• Hi!

I just got Visual Composer, it looks okay but all the content I drag and drop then appears all compressed between my theme’s bar and other stuff i don’t want there.

I only want to make a few unique-pages with Visual Composer for my site and be done with it. I don’t want search bar, side bar, footer… I don’t really want anything from any wordpress theme but I can’t find any wordpress theme that doesn’t put their own crap in it besides user content.

I’ve tried to manually delete portions of code from differents files but there’s still stuff showing up like categories.

All the demos I’ve seen using Visual Composer or other quick drag&drop builders show the content like it was a full-width theme, which is not at all what I’m experiencing.

    How to fix this?

    Thanks.

  • All the elements generated by Visual Composer will appear as the “content” of a post/page. So the search bar, sidebar ,etc is nothing to do with VC but the layout of your post/page.

If you want a full-width layout, you’ll want to choose a theme with a full-width page template and many themes are packed with this feature like 2013,2014, etc
