What is your site url?
The plugin automatically replaces your default search engine on the blog. If you try searching for any term, it should automatically return modified search page.
Ya, its true.
I am running the stuff locally.
So do you mean that I do not have make any changes in files instead/inspite of installing the plugin and to do the settings through CMS?
If it is so then its not working at all. Still can you please clarify me the steps to make it in run position.

I’m not sure how you’re trying to check if things work or not and it’s not possible for me to check anything without a non-local URL.
Firstly, I assume that your local install has posts and content. And, you’ve installed and activated Better Search.
If you visit localhost/?s=termhere what do you see. Note that you’ll need to change localhost to whatever the URL of your local WordPress site is.
ya ya, thatsfine. And you are correct that my url is looking exactly like that as you mentioned.
But still I am not getting anything in page or neither its redirecting to me anywhere once I click on search textbox.
Thatswhy I mentioned you that, are there any changes do I need to make in pages/files so that it will work properly except settings changes in cms.

Can you post a screenshot of what you can see when you visit the /?s= pages?
