  • Have you edited that file? It shouldn’t ever be modified.

    Try re-uploading your core WordPress files.

    Hi jdingman,
    No. I had my hosting co. install the program in April because I am no that computer literate. I don’t know how to re-upload and will I lose everything by doing that? It just started last night.

    If your hosting company is in control of it, I would suggest talking to them about re-uploading the files. Also, make sure you are running the latest 2.8.4 code.

    And all of the posts and comments will stay intact?

    Yes. As long as they don’t drop your database. All the posts and comments are stored in the database.

    Make sure you backup everything being performing an upgrade though, just in case.
