When taxonomy is sortable, Quick Edit fields are not selectable

    Hi –

    When a taxonomy is made draggable, the mouse cannot focus the Quick Edit fields (label, slug). It’s not a deal-breaker since you can keyboard-tab between them, but it would be great if enabling the Quick Edit feature would remove the draggable handle (then restore it on Update/Cancel)

    Doable?

    Hi @palpatine1976,

    I’ve tested a couple WordPress instances and am not seeing the issue you’re talking about; for me, I can click the name / slug fields and edit them as normal.

    My guess is that there is probably a theme conflict. Are any errors showing up in your console? (Let me know if you need instructions on accessing the console).

    Hi –

    Thanks for replying: it’s not a theme or plugin conflict though, I just did a clean WP install with just STO activated and the bug is present even in default taxonomy (post categories). I think the draggable handle is positioned over the text input elements and so can’t get mouse focus. (This is in Firefox on PC, but I’m guessing it’s the same in other browsers).

    As noted, you can still TAB between fields, or even click the label of the Quick Edit fields to get input focus: you just can’t click into the text boxes to get focus.

    Do you want me to do a quick video capture to demonstrate?

    You’re right! It’s appearing in Firefox (I was using Chrome). We’ll try to fix that ASAP. Thanks for the info!

    There is a new version of the plugin (1.2.1) that should fix this issue.
