I couldn’t find clear documentation on payment setting “Use API dynamic title and gateway logo”.
    When should this be enabled/disabled?

Context: multilingual EU site, using WPML
Would like to have proper payment names for customers, e.g. “Kreditkarte” for DE, “Creditcard” for NL, etc.

    Hello @shustus

The “Use API dynamic title and gateway logo” setting in Mollie pulls payment method titles and logos directly from the Mollie API. These titles are static and not localized based on language or country. For your multilingual site, it’s best to disable this setting.

Once disabled, you can set custom payment method titles in WooCommerce under Settings > Payments. After setting a custom title like “Creditcard,” you can use WPML’s String Translation feature to provide translations for each language. This allows your customers to see the correct title in their selected language, such as “Kreditkarte” in German or “Carte de crédit” in French.

This solution works based on the selected site language using WPML, not the customer’s billing country. If you need country-specific titles, that would require a custom development approach.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Femi.
