When unistalling plugin, button Self-destroy does not work

    Hi there,

    Easy WP SMTP does not work properly in my installation, so I want to uninstall it. The button to erase all settings a deactivate the plugin does not work. It says something like “it has been impossible to erase the settings. Refresh the page and try again”

    If it continues in that way, where can I find the settings a erase them by myself to set everything as if Easy WP SMTP was not installed?

    Hi.

    And your obviously tried to refresh the page and got the same error message, correct? If you help us figure out why this is happening, this would be great. Do you have access to your server’s error log? If you could see what it says after you click Self-Destruct button, it would be great.

    If you don’t want to bother with that, just set your email pass in the settings to something like “123” and delete the plugin via standard WP means. This would ensure your real password is not stored in the DB.

    Changed password and then delete plugin via WP Plugins option and everything is ok now. Thanks a lot!
