When using same IP the groups are merged

Hello I have this problem,
I have two groups on my site, Student and Leader, the student role is a new role created with Learndash, the leader is also a role created by learndash called Group Leader.
AS I only allow from certain IPs for access to the website each group must have the IP address in place.
The problem I have is if the both are on the same IP address the groups get merged together becoming student and leader ??
Is there a fix for this please? as the leaders and students use the same IP address.
