When Using WP Super Cache…

In WP Super Cache, there are 3 different ways, to use the caching method.
(1) Use mod_rewrite to serve cache files.
(2) Use PHP to serve cache files.
(3) Legacy page caching.

If I select (2) in WP Super Cache, should I choose PHP or Javascript or REST API in Post Views Counter?
