Hi there,
You would have to edit your template and modify it. If you know enough HTML and CSS you can head over to Appearance and click on Editor. Be careful modifying any of these files here without knowledge will break the theme and you might needs to reinstall the theme. You can go and hire a WordPress pro to do this for you.
Hope that helps.
ok cool at least i know the direction i need to look in thank you, do you know of any templates or things i could do that would lead me to more customizable options?
Hi
There is a ton of templates that sometimes use shortcodes for making columns type content, controlling column creation through the page editor, so that it is easier to create one column that’s page wide or two columns or three columns, all with content. Depending if your template was coded with them. That may work for you.
You may also want to take out the sidebar on the right and if the “what’s new” box is fluid, it will expand on its own.
Moving the items on the right, will be tricky. I would do a search for more feature filled template. I’m not sure what look you are after but there is plenty of templates with entry of options to choose from. Some with all sorts of ways to align your content and where to place it.
I don’t have a specific one at the moment but if I see one, sure to post it here.
wow thanks man info i did not know and did need lol
