Where do I put php code?

    Hey guys,

    I am trying to install the Vote It Up plug in. To install, I have to follow these directions:

    “You will need to insert the relevant code (<?php DisplayVotes(get_the_ID()); ?>) into the WordPress loop.”

    My question is: WHERE? The single post php page? If so, where in the code? I just don’t understand.
