• I’ve installed (via WP) and activated several plug-ins since upgrading my WP 3.0.3 install to multisite. But when I use my FTP program (Transmit on Mac) to view my wp-content>plugins folder, they’re not there. Only the plug-ins I installed prior to multisite conversion are there. And my wp-content>blogs.dir folder is also empty. So where do plug-ins under multisite reside?

  • In the same plugins folder. I have no idea why some aren’t showing up for you.

unless you installed some in the mu-plugins folder?

Or maybe you have to sync transmit to see them (I have no idea, I;ve never used it. I’m guessing)

And my wp-content>blogs.dir folder is also empty.

this is only for media uploads for the sub sites. that’s it.

Thanks Andrea! I had done a refresh in Transmit with no luck. So, after your comment, I tried a simple quit and restart of Transmit — and voila, my plugins are all there. Lesson learned.
