I downloaded that extension (seems odd an extension is needed if it is advertised as part of the MiwoShop “features”). However, I get an error in a popup:

Then there is a bunch of HTML code that seems to be an actual page vs. popup.

This is when I try to install the extension through the extension installer.
Will all OpenCart 2.0 extensions work? I’ve used a very good OC CSV Import tool and could install it instead.

Yes, OpenCart 2.0 extensions (except themes) work fine on MiwoShop 3. However, we’ve found a problem with extension installation and will release a new version that fixes it by tomorrow.

Can I upload files via FTP for it to work?

If there is no XML file into the ZIP package then it will work but I would suggest you to wait until tomorrow for a better extension installation process.

I tried the extension installer and got:

Uploading the files and installing only the XML files gave success messages, but the extensions still did not install.

OK, first off, NOBODY SHOULD DO THIS UPDATE! Using the WP plugin updater, Miwoshop was updated and then immediately removed from the system. ALL DATA WAS LOST! I had to reinstall the plugin from the plugin directory and start over.
Secondly, I tried installing the import extension again and still get a popup on the install screen with:

Sorry to hear your experience with update. However, our staff was not able to reproduce it. Our staff would be more than happy to analyze your site if you could provide us the details through our tickets system.
As for the extension, please, make sure you’ve unzipped the file and installed the proper version (miwo1 or miwo3). I just tested myself and it works fine.

Yes, I unzipped it first. I tried other extensions. All do the same thing.
OK, I tried another fresh install of WP with not a single other plugin installed. Installing Miwoshop was fine. When I try to install the import extension, I get the same popup with:

I have downloaded other extensions from MED and OCED and all are giving the same error when attempting to install:

This is on my fresh test WP install. On the live install, I get this error:

Again, this happens regardless of the extension installed.
