Where is the bbcode bar?

Hi, this plugin seems to be exactly what I am looking for, but I am having some difficulty with it right now.

I want the advanced text editor to show up in my forums so that users have some more control over what they are typing, but it doesn’t seem to be there, despite other aspects of the plugin like quoting appearing. I have the right install of bbpress (past 2.3) and I went into settings and activated the right check box to integrate with buddypress.

Am I missing something?
