Hi,
Yes, you can find the theme’s file on the same folder you’ve mentioned. However, generally, we and WordPress do not recommend changing the code of WordPress Core, Plugin and Theme’s directly for various reasons which you can do research on the internet.
For changing the theme’s features or functionality, WordPress has a feature called Child Theme by using which you can change the website as you like. Please read this article for detail: https://docs.zakratheme.com/en/article/how-to-add-custom-code-to-the-theme-using-child-theme-1ml5yot/
Thanks.
Hi Ashish,
thank you very much for your detailed answer.
Indeed, I’m not planning to change the code but just wanted to have an idea of the file organization.
I’m using “Construction” template and for example, when I’m searching the character string “Atlanta” (located in the top bar header), I can’t find any file containing this character string under wp-content directory.
Can you tell me in which file “6th Alley Street, Atlanta” is stored ?
Thanks a lot.
