Sure, we can improve FAQ and we’ll make it but if we are not wrong the review section is for quality about plugin (works / doesn’t work ;)?? ) and not for quality about Faq section…
Do you imagine if the rating for all wordpress plugins depend on Faq section…?
first thing first: kudos for response back.
i don’t agree with your view about the scope of review section. “how to use” “usage instructions” are parts of a product / plugin in my opinion. (because i didn’t see a separate support and rating forum regarding to forum regarding to those topics)
so if i can’t find “how to use” “usage instructions” in description, faq or anywhere else and if i can’t make it work, the product doesn’t work for “me”. And instead of making me imagine about all wordpress plugins, wouldn’t it be better to tell what the shortcode is and ask me to think about changing review ? it would be faster for both sides.
I would have to agree with the OP. It was such a pain to follow the vague instructions regarding the shortcode…I couldn’t FIND IT! On the page, it says:
“To add shortcode to editor click on the Enjoy Instagram icon and choose where include a Carousel View or a Grid View.”
Which icon on which page are you even talking about? The only icon I see was on the plugin settings page, but obviously its not clickable. Please do clarify.
We added more instructions on Faq TAB and in the last version of our plugin we evidence some informations about shortcodes in the Setting section plugin.
Hope this new informations are more clear and useful.
