Im using header footer elementor and Hello elementor theme, but adding header scripts/metatags to hello elementor child theme doesn’t work since the website uses your own plugin files

Is there a way to override the plugin template files in the child theme to keep the changes update-proof? I tried replicating the plugin folder structure to edit hfe-header.php but it doesn’t work.

    Thanks!

Okay, lets say i want to add google tag manager scripts on the header, the usual way is to copy the script in header.php from the theme

But while using the plugin, that theme’s header.php is unused, instead using header-footer-elementor/themes/default/hfe-header.php… So i would need to edit a core file from the plugin, whose changes would be removed after an update

Some plugins like Woocommerce, allow you to recreate plugin’s folder structure in your own child theme in order to override plugin files (like it would be a child plugin)… But that does not work for this plugin

What about if you are using this plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/insert-headers-and-footers/. Let us know your experience.
