I must be idiot, but I just can’t find where to paste the google tag manager code for analytics purpose in the yoast plugin version 21.5.

Anyone to help me, please?

Hello @ucan74,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. The plugin does not have a feature for Google Analytics. You can check out other plugins in the plugin repository for that function.

but in the past it used to have a field for that, right? Or did I dreamed it?

Hi @ucan74,
We would like to let you know that the Yoast SEO plugin does not have a feature to connect Google Analytics. You will need to use another plugin from the WordPress repository to integrate them, such as Site Kit by Google.

Furthermore, Yoast SEO allows you to connect your website to Google Search Console so you can track how Google is indexing your website. You can refer to the following guide to know more about this: How to add your website to Google Search Console.
