A few spell check plugins can be found here:
http://codex.ww.wp.xz.cn/Plugins/Admin_Tools
coldforge.org is dead (there’s a thread around on the matter).
However, you can still get that plugin (which is the one I use and love) here: http://dev.wp-plugins.org/browser/spell-checker/tags/1.18/
(I forget how to get that into a ZIP.)

Don’t you just love technology?
Is anyone getting an “error 8” with this plugin?
I cant seem to get it to work.
I am getting an error saying that it cannot find my dictionary…??
I use Firefox for my browser and use the Spellbound Extension. It allows me to spellcheck any text box (including the WordPress Write form) with a simple right click. It can be found at http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/
I use my brain – works better than any spellchecker. It allows me to use any word I have learned since first developing the ability to read. It also informs me when I attempt to spell a word I don’t really know well enough and instructs me to look it up. I’m sure if you check, you’ll find you have one, too. Scrap the spellchecker wannabes, dust off the old brainpan and exercise the contents a bit. Remember… A brain is a terrible thing to waste.
Beel,
LMAO, dude. That’s asking a lot, don’t you think?
Any idea of spell checkers that work for WP2.03? None of the ones on Codex work. Even apwllbound is not compatible with my firefox 1.5
Corrector is working on WP 2 with Firefox 1.5 http://vanus01.net/?page_id=55
However, it is sometimes crashing my browser (on a Mac). You shall give it a try.
