    Hi there,

I would like to try your plugin as it really seems to have an interesting approach for multilingual websites.

As I’m new here, pardon if my questions are dumb or have already been replied somewhere:

    – “Language Manager with 174 editable languages”
I understand texts in different languages have to be drafted by the site’s users – what does a Language Manager do exactly and why those precisely 174 languages are editable? I don’t well understand the purpose of this Manager. Is this number of 174 a limit for the languages that can be used and is there a list of those 174 languages?

    – In WP core, the number of Active Installations is 900+ while at your own site it is stated “Downloads: 234,475”. Is the version at WP core different or newer?

    Thanks!

    Hi John,

MultilingualPress uses WordPress Multisite infrastructure, it allows you to assign a language to each site in the network, also it allows to connect content between those sites. It comes with 174 languages but you can modify them to add your own if it does not exist in MultilingualPress available languages.

Active installs is the number of users that currently have the plugin installed and activated while Downloads is the number of times that the plugin was downloaded from WordPress repository.

    Thanks,
    Emili

    Many thanks Emili, well noted.
Is there a list of those 174 languages?
