Hi, I`m starting a event-information homepage and wonder which template would be perfect to work together with the Event Manager, magazin style.

Could someone give me a hint please?

sorry but did you mean a theme? if yes, sorry but cannot recommend a theme but any theme should work as long as it support custom post type.
