  • Hi there, you could try something like this:

    body {
        background-image: url("http://craftitbakeit.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/wood_planks___d632_by_agf81-d5fz4zl2.jpg");
    }

    header, section.container {
        background-color: #fff;
    }

    Let me know how it goes!

    I am having the same issue but neither code above works for me. I have a child theme on a self hosted site and it looks like redjoker achieved what they wanted with their site, but it’s not working for me. I am placing the code in my child theme style.css file but nothing happens, not sure why. Maybe I need to put the code somewhere else? Any help would be appreciated. My site is http://sarahfinadesigns.com/

    Hi sarahfinadesign – since this post is over 6 months old and you’re using the original Bluchic version of Adelle, which is a bit different from the WordPress.com version, could you post over in the Adelle forum to get help with the issue? Thanks!
