• I’m completely lost with what to do here.

I have 2 blogs and I installed the response theme into my old one this morning – it worked fine.

I tried installing the same file to my other blog this afternoon and I got the dreaded white screen and now server error.

I then deleted the theme, still an error. I deleted all the plugins, still an error. I have no idea what the problem is as I removed the theme and it’s still not getting me anywhere.

It might be worth adding that the blog which is fine is hosted at Bluehost and the one with a problem is on Freehostia.

I only have 90 minutes to find a fix, please help!

Edit to say, I’ve renamed the response file as well as themes.

    Try:

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. If you can’t log in to change themes, you can remove the theme folders via FTP so the only one is twentyeleven. That will force your site to use it.
