nope
just backed up all my plugin and theme files. doing a fresh instal now.
will add everything one @ a time.
i hate doing this crap seems like i have to do this once every 4-5months with WP
If this happens regularly, it suggests that either:
– you’re not checking that new plugins are compatible with your version of WP before activating them.
– your hosts have a server issue that is resulting in file corruption
– your site is being hacked and the backdoor is not being removed.
I use ixwebhosting… any knnown issues with them?
They’re not a hosting company that I know or have used.
I keep everything up to date.
is there something on WP that will tell me if a plugin i am using is causing the backdoor?
also is there a security or firewall plugin u would recommend?
thanks!
It’s not that simple. A backdoor could have been introduced into almost any folder in WP from somewhere else on the server rather than from a plugin. Have a look at http://ottodestruct.com/blog/2009/hacked-wordpress-backdoors/
figured it out.
optimal title and simple tags do not work 2geather.
