Hi there!
I am using the current version of WP (3.6) and am not able to try it on any other themes! I open up my site, scroll down to the Meta section and log-in. It opens to the dash board, and that’s where I’m stuck! It doesn’t matter where I try to navigate to, I just get a plain white screen. I am able to get back to the dashboard by clicking on my “back” button.
At this point, the only other way to enter the site is to do so in another browser. However, if I go back into admin from there…
Wash, rinse and repeat :-/
The site is sowegamomblog.com
Thanks so much for your help!!!!
@patfenner – you’ll need to use FTP to access the files on your server and first try deactivating your plugins by renaming the plugins folder:
wp-content
pluginsHOLD
That should let you login again. If not, try renaming the theme – under
wp-content
themes
activetabHOLD
If you’re not familiar with FTP, see:

Thanks – I’ll give it a try!
Does that mean one of the plugins was giving me trouble? If so, how do I determine which one?
Will renaming the theme affect how it displays on the site? In other words, will I still be able to use it?
It’s possible it’s a plugin-related problem – these are the standard troubleshooting steps. Yes, it will affect your site, but there’s no other way to identify why this is happening.
If deactivating them all fixes it, then reactivate one by one to find the troublesome one. It’s also possible that they may all be okay and by renaming the folder temporarily, the problem will be fixed.
Deactivating all of them seemed to fix the problem, but now it won’t let me add any back in! When I try to reinstall something in the Plugins section of my admin I get the “Plugin install failed” message.
Do I have to do this directly via FTP files?
GAH!! The only thing I was trying to do was change a font on my posts…I think that (the “Font” plug in) was the “plug in that broke the camel’s back”, so to speak!
