    Good afternoon,
I have WordPress working on local with MAMP. At the beginning, everything was working OK, but suddenly when I logged in I found an all-white screen and from that moment it is always the same.

Does anybody know why could it be?

I need a helping hand, please!. Thanks a lot in advance!

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name.

    resetting the plugins folder.

Thanks a lot, Esmi. It works with the first option you gave me! now I can log into my WordPress dashboard, but as soon as I select my theme, I have the same problem again and I have to add “-old” to the end of the folder name again.

    Any idea?

    Thanks again

Not really much I can add to what you’ve probably already guessed. You have a bad theme with 1 or more serious errors. Is this a custom theme?

Yes Esmi, I’m customizing a theme. I´m checking it completely to locate possible serious errors. I think that the problem begun when I copied from a folder and pasted in my theme’s folder a new template “page-myblog.php”. The strange thing is that the problem arose before selecting it in the “Quick edit” of my Home page.

I hope I find out as soon as possible what the problem is. If so, I will post here.

Check your server’s error logs. Also enable turn debug on and enable error logging on your local install.

Great Esmi! my problem was at Functions.php. The debug is a fantastic tool. Thanks a lot again!

    Glad I could help 🙂
