Whitelist – limiting registration

Is there any built-in way, or code snippet I could add, to enable a whitelist feature for WP Members?

I need to allow users to sign-up for accounts on my site, but only if they have a specific type of email address, one from a particular domain. That way I can ensure only members of that organisation can register.

I had previously used a 3rd party plugin to do this, but it’s not been updated in many years and is no longer working.
