We run a BBPress forum and one of my Moderators triggered the WAF firewall and was blocked from replying to a forum post.

The content of his post was simple text nothing that even looks like it should be blocked.

When I white listed the Param it associates this Param to a particular forum post URL

    URL
    /topic/live-data-and-scans/

    PARAM
    request.body[bbp_reply_content]

Will this white listed item be applied globally on my forum site or only on that one particular forum post url? if not global, how do I make it globally apply?

  • Hi @wasca,

The whitelist that Wordfence added would only apply to that specific thread.

You can apply it globally by…

    1. Go to Wordfence -> All Options -> Whitelisted URLs
    2. Put /, Param Type: Post Body, bbp_reply_content for the fields
    3. Click Add, and Save Changes
