I’m getting a lot of white space around the “pay now” button when I am using just the button with no other additional text around it. Is there a way to get rid of that excess whitespace? (I’m assuming it’s in the CSS, since the raw html on the page view doesn’t show any additional whitespace or padding.)

If there is not a setting for that in the actual plugin, could you tell me how to access the additional CSS that the plugin is inserting and I could just go in and modify it there?

    Hope this makes sense.

    Hi deancook-dallas,

Most likely this is related to your theme and how it is rending an element. If you can can you provide a link here to the page on your site in question, I can see what the problem is.

    Thanks,
    Scott

    Hey Scott, thanks for responding.

An example of what I mean can be found here:

    http://decisivestrategia.com/confirmation/

For instance, the first course, “Defensive Mindset Seminar” in
January of 2016, under “Cost”, the PayPal button has a lot of white space above and below it. The owner of the web site would prefer to have that button be closer to “Cost: $45”. I couldn’t find a setting for this, and when I look at the raw HTML for the page, it doesn’t show anything that might be generating this additional whitespace, so I suspect it is just how the CSS is formating it? (Like the theme CSS, as you say.)

I can send you screenshots of the administrator page showing the html if that would be helpful.

    Thanks,
    Dean

    Hi Dean,

Using a client side editor in Firefox I changed your text above the button to “testing” as you can see in this screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/TjmqZFc.png and it looks like the spacing is related to the text above the button: http://i.imgur.com/tnYvDYX.png

That is pretty much all I can do to help, but I would recommend messing with that text and HTML above the button.

    Thanks,
    Scott
