why am i getting this error?

    [ERROR: FLV shortcode is disabled until you install JW FLV Player! See the admin area for details.]

    in all posts which have an flv video embedded.
    should i reformat all of my plugins? i use the JW longtail video player.

    does anyone know why this is happening?

    please help, i am completely lost…..thanks in advance.

    Have you installed the JW FLV Player? That’s the most obvious thing to ask for a start. From what I can see, that is not a part of the pluign, but a seperate program that you need to install seperately.

    i just put it in the wp-content folder per viper007 instructions on his site. am i on the right track?
