Why break so many things?

    I don’t understand how an update can break so many things at the same time.

    After the update to v5 the log email and from is missing. All jobs are broken. Functionality is missing. The “Backup Now” button is not working at all – the page just reloads, no visual clue what is breaking. The content selector is missing functionality and is bad UX.

    In the list table are three icons with three dots vertically and although the mouse change to link there are no links and it doesn’t happen anything. Just showing some numbers as tooltip – looks like the time and the filename, but why?

    The UI is so bad. No text variants for icons. Firefox is showing so many accessibility errors. I don’t think this is usable for anyone with assistive technology like Voice Over at all.

    It looks rushed into public without proper QA/UX testing (and translating).

    WP media – you can do better!

    On that note, we’re actively working to address these problems and improve the product as quickly as possible. However, if you’d like to revert to the previous version (4.1.7), you can do so by downloading it from here.

    This should restore functionality while we work to improve the product in upcoming releases.
